Event Coordinator Volunteer

Purpose:

Ensure Stride to Serve events run smoothly by supporting planning, logistics, volunteer coordination, and on-site leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help schedule events and coordinate with partners about project details.

  • Communicate with participants prior to events (reminders, what to bring, logistics).

  • Prepare event materials (sign-in sheets, maps, checklists, supplies).

  • Arrive early to events to help with setup and participant welcome.

  • Support event flow: warm-up, service project, cool-down, celebration.

  • Help troubleshoot any onsite issues.

  • Conduct short event recaps and feedback collection.

Ideal Skills & Qualities:

  • Organized and proactive.

  • Comfortable leading or guiding groups.

  • Good problem-solving skills and calm under pressure.

  • Enjoy working outdoors and being hands-on.

Time Commitment:

Variable, 5 - 10 hours per event, starting Spring 2026.
